Usb 2.0 To Vga Drivers For Mac

Since Apple's YOSEMITE was installed the beta version of the software has been erratic. I expect they will fix it soon enough.
This is a great way to add extra monitors beyond what the computer normally permits. I would recommend this item to a friend! This product allows for VGA and and DVI monitors to be hooked up through a USB 2.0 connection.
For business purposes, they work great. The video gets kind of mangled when attempting to watch video, but that's OK, I just move the video to the primary screen of my computer setup. You can't use these for video editing, and at the price, you should not expect it to. I use them to put MS Outlook on one screen, IM on another and Internet on a third. I actually have four monitors: Laptop, vga attached monitor, and two of these devices.
The resolutions are fine and I think the screens are plenty clear for my use. I use these for both Mac and Windows. I like how the drivers allow for integration with the Windows and Mac display settings - you can move the various images around within the display settings. I would recommend this item to a friend!

Its a little external video card that lets you add a monitor (or even several). As an IT manager, I've had many opportunities to use this on a variety of computers, operating systems, and display devices and thus far have great experiences. I've had this for a long time now and it just keeps on kicking (no ticking).
A great solution if you have a DVI display that you want to connect to a computer that only has USB slots available. I would recommend this item to a friend! Watching a You tube video is ok, frame rate lags a little vs the main Apple display, but its ok, but not for video editing. August 19, 2012 This was a great solution to running a second external monitor on my MacBook Pro.
The first is connected with the Thunderbolt port. I don't see any significant difference between the two monitors with this adapter. When first plugged in, I do sometimes need to do a little fiddling or do a restart to get everything going, but once connected it works well and stays connected (sometimes for days). Reviewer: Raj001 Experience Level: Power User Owned Product: 1-3 months Rating: 5/5 Amazing product August 12, 2012 I have read reviews of many other products before buying this one. Most common complaint I see of those is that the video doesn't play on the third monitor. I was so scared when I bought this one, and guess what, it plays video on the third monitor too. I have connected one of my monitors to my Macbook Pro 13' using regular port, and the second monitor using this product with USB. There were some glitches during the installation, but it worked. After a windows update of the product's drivers, it got even better.
Forgot to mention, I am using this on Windows 7 not on Mac OS. Laptop works as one of the three monitors. I was able to play videos on all the monitors at the same time. But, do remember that my Macbook Pro was extended to 8 GB ram, optical drive was removed to accommodate another hard drive with a total of 2 TB storage. There are still some glitches when the screen comes to live after sleep, but it's not that big of a deal.

Verified Buyer Reviewer: station2 Location: Roseville, CA Age: Over 65 Experience Level: Power User Owned Product: less than a month Rating: 5/5 Flawless performance June 2, 2012 I got this adapter in order to run the second one of my dual external monitors with my MacBook (not 'Pro'). The first one of the external monitors was already connected to the MacBook through the regular external-monitor port, so this allowed for the use of both external monitors on the MacBook. To my utter astonishment and delight, the arrangement works absolutely superbly. I ended up with an arrangement in which my desktop spans all three monitors, with my main monitor on the left-hand side (22' CRT) being the one connected directly to the MacBook's monitor port, the center one (also a 22' CRT) conected through the above described USB adapter, and on the right the MacBook's own built-in monitor. In total, the desktop is now 3840x1024 pixels. Working with Photoshop13 ('CS6') with all that screen real estate is like a dream.
The only thing that didn't work was taking a screen shot of the center display, i.e. The one connected through the USB adapter.
Using CommandShift3 generates only screen-shot files from monitors one (left) and three (right), the center one is simply ignored. Using CommandShift4 only in the center screen, I could hear the shutter-clack sound, but no image was generated again.
I tried swapping the screens and connections around, and whichever is connected through the USB adapter was always ignored as far as the screen shot. This issue was solved with SnapzProX2, a utility that does the job perfectly, by either taking a screen shot of just the secondary (center) monitor or one spanning the entire width of all three screens combined.

Alas, the utility costs $70. However, this proves that the USB-adapter is indeed working flawlessly and that it provides all the necessary information to capture a screen shot of the monitor it is driving. So this is really an Apple problem—which I have no hope of seeing fixed, as Snow Leopard is no longer supported. I would highly recommend this adapter. I would recommend this item to a friend! I tried another brand but when connected to my computer the software of their adapter was not compatible with the touch screen interface of the computer and I had to disconnect their adapter to use the touch screen function on my pc. This product works great and the picture quality of the additional monitor is flawless! I would recommend this item to a friend!
